A report from Highpoint International Home Furnishings Market – What’s in store for 2014?
Perhaps taking the lead from the autumnal changes, there was a noable shift to warmer metals – a glow of brushed, polished and antique gold and brass tones. It was almost unexpected after the long dominace of chrom and nickel. There were the expected touches, being featured as table legs, hardware and gracing accessories of all kinds. But there were also a lot of textiles iwth an underlying iridescence that mimiched that golden glow. Note that mixed metals are still occuring as well.
