November is moving so quickly and Thanksgiving is just around the corner! As designers, we’re always focused on how great the Thanksgiving table looks, but we certainly don’t want anything except delicious food served on our gorgeous table.  So, I wanted to make sure I gave all of you my momma’s most amazing, scrumptious, totally unhealthy (of course, that’s why it’s good) and always, crowd pleasing, dessert. This is truly one of the best Thanksgiving desserts to serve to your guests.


Pumpkin Crunch

1 ~ Pkg Yellow cake mix 4 ~ tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 ~ 16 oz can solid packed pumpkin 1/2 ~ tsp Salt
1 ~ 12 oz can evaporated milk 1 – 2 ~ Cups chopped pecans
3 ~ Eggs 1 ~ Cup melted butter
1 1/2 ~ Cups sugar Whipped Topping

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Pour into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Top with pecans. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until golden. Cool completely. Serve with whipped topping.
